Through proprietary materials and processing, the company asserts it has achieved excellent moisture withstanding for the HDM without significant increase in manufacturing costs. This series can survive 100 hours in a pressure cooker at 120°C, over 98 percent relative humidity and two atmosphere’s pressure while standard carbon film and metal film resistors would fail, according to the company.
