SMT Clock Oscillator Offers Tight Stability Over Entire Frequency Output

SMT clock oscillatorRuby Quartz announced the first free running non temperature compensated clock oscillators at stability of down to ±10 ppm over an all-inclusive room plus temperature stability of from -40°C to+85°C in a frequency range of 2.5 MHz to 55 MHz. The COM2 Series, filling a grey area of stability performance from previously available product, according to the company is produced in a ultra-small package of 5.0 mm x 3.3 mm, making it appropriate for use in Wireless LANs, where the enable/disable function, low phase noise, low current consumption and tight stability are prime design needs. Operating voltage ranges can be from 1.8 V to 5.0 VDC at a maximum of 7.0 Ma depending on frequency and stability requirements within their operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
