It connects directly to the microcontroller’s serial port and provides a 10Base-T Ethernet connection at a cost of under $20 in 1,000-piece quantities. The XE232NET shares a common pin configuration with the Xecom XE5690SM modem family. XE232NET control and configuration uses AT commands like those used on modem modules.

AMAX is a distributed control system: The trajectory generation and logic control executes in the central processor, but the motion control loops are executed in the intelligent slave module and require less centralized processing power while reducing overall wiring cost and system complexity. The AMAX-2050KW master module is an embedded Pentium III grade platform with an onboard AMONet controller that can control up to 2048 I/O points or 64 axes.

The EBC-855-G-1.8-1 is a RoHS-compliant, processor- and I/O-intensive board offering -40°C to +70°C temperature operation. This SBC's target applications include automation, medical/diagnostic equipment, communications, security, test and measurement, and outdoor transaction terminals.
