TriQuint Semiconductor’s TQP4M9083, 7-bit, digital step attenuator (DSA) offers up to 31.75 dB of attenuation in 0.25 dB increments. A serial periphery interface (SPI) controls attenuation changes. A wide frequency range of 0.4 GHz to 3.5 GHz allows for use in test equipment, sensors, mobile infrastructure and general purpose wireless applications. The DSA is pin compatible with the TQP4M9072 allowing design flexibility and the ability to upgrade for higher resolution requirements. Other features include 1.5 dB insertion loss and 55 dBm IIP3 performance.
