rotary code switches 4 high solderAPEM Components introduced the P65 series of rotary switches, a high temperature version of the company’s PT65 dual in-line package (DIP) coded rotary switch. The series is specially designed for high temperature soldering and is appropriate for modern assembly processes. The switches are suitable for use in the automotive, communication, consumer electronics, and defense markets, as well as electrical appliances, industrial automation, and medical. The P65 series is available in both surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (TH). The contact paths have abrasion-resistant gold plating. The mechanical lifetime is 30,000 steps, and they are available in four, six, 10, and 16 positions. The switches are 6.5 mm Height, 10 Width and 10 Length.
The P65’s permissible Reflow soldering temperature of 260 °C for 10sec, wave of 280°C for 5sec, and 340°C for 2sec. Standard actuators include arrow-shaped and cross-shaped slots. Additional actuators are available upon request, including spindle, segment wheel, rotary axle, knob, and wheel.
