Fri, 10/28/2011 - 12:43pm
Optronics International has released a catalog detailing an expanded offering of white LED lighting. The new listing features high output white LED lights designed using materials suitable for heavy duty applications.

“Optronics is continually working to improve LED lighting by using the best components available,” stated Marcus Hester, Director of Sales and Marketing for Optronics. “As brighter diodes are developed and SMD technology allows greater design flexibility, Optronics acts quickly to apply these advances to the products that are workhorses in the industry.”

“Heavy duty applications benefit more than any other from LED technology,” said Randal Varner, National Sales Manager for Optronics. “LEDs offer durability not found in products utilizing filament bulbs, and also energy efficiency, reducing stress on the complex electrical systems of heavy duty vehicles.”

The Opti-Brite branded line includes:

LED Headlamps – HLL88/89 Series DOT compliant high and low beam headlamps replace standard 4”x6” sealed beam halogen and HID headlamps. Dual power – use with 12VDC or 24VDC systems.

LED Work Lights – TLL45/46 Series feature heavy duty housing, mounting bracket and lens material, making these ultrabright lights suitable for the harshest applications. Low profile design – less than 2.5” deep.

LED Dome Lights – ILL08COB 12/24VDC semi-recess mount rectangular dome light is designed for use in refrigerated trailers; low voltage cutoff at 7VDC prevents battery drain to vehicle. ILL42CB 4” round dome light is for use in trailers or vans where a flush mount design and high light output is needed; low voltage cutoff at 10.5VDC.

LED Interior and Utility Lights – Opti-Brite listing also includes LED weatherproof marine docking lights, 3” recess mount “puck” light and a variety of surface mount dome lights in rectangular, round and strip styles.
