The StrataXGS BCM56640 Series for modular platforms, and the StrataXGS BCM56540 Series for fixed carrier Ethernet platforms, deliver the industry’s highest port speeds and scale in their class, according to the company. The flexible architecture underlying both families is ideally suited for both transport-oriented (PTN) and IP-oriented (IP-RAN) aggregation network deployments, providing operators with desirable capacity and service density while controlling operational costs.
