This device combines a high-efficiency, mono Class D amplifier; a DirectDrive stereo headphone amplifier; and a DirectDrive mono receiver amplifier. The device utilizes the company's active-emissions-limiting (AEL) circuitry and spread-spectrum-modulation technique, which reduce EMI and eliminate the output filters typically required by Class D amplifiers.
