Keypads are Vandal-Resistant

EAOEAO Switch, a premier global supplier of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems and Components, announces M Series keypads to provide security and access control in public and harsh environments, including heavy-duty and specialty vehicle applications, public kiosks, and vending machines. The M Series modular design and rugged construction make it an ideal solution for fast configuration and customization in any outdoor application.

The M Series offers secure, easy mounting and is shock proof and damage resistant to the IK09 standard, making it vandal-resistant for installation in public applications such as ATMs, ticketing machines, and access control systems. An anti-fraud detection circuit provides additional security.

The M Series is dust- and water-resistant to IP 67 for use in rugged applications, such as controls for heavy duty vehicles in construction, agriculture, and mining. Laser engraved legends provide clear instructions and high durability.

Configurability and customization make it easy for users to define the exact keypad configuration they require, and select the shape, dimension, color, and material for keys. User-specified layouts can include special key arrangements, with blanks, spaces, and rows to fit the application. Tactile feedback can also be customized and include the length of key travel. The M Series offers a range of illumination and color options to ensure that the keypads provide the functional and ergonomic characteristics necessary for the application.

All products comply with international standards, including UL, CE, RoHS, CB – EN/IEC 60947-5-1, NFF 16-102, CSA, CCC, GOST, and German Lloyd. UL approval is for copper wire, size 26-16.
