Connectorized Clock Oscillators Suit PCI, SONET-SDH and FPGA Apps

PLXO Series Phase-Locked Crystal Oscillators from EM Research are designed to operate at select custom frequencies from 5 MHz to 500 MHz as reference clocks in military and commercial rf/microwave systems. Locked to an external frequency reference (or optional internal reference), the PLXO units feature low rms jitter (<0.05 pSec, typical), desirable phase noise (Fout = 233 MHz, < -120 dBc/Hz at 1 KHz, typical) and low power consumption at +3.3 V, +5 V, +8 V or +12 VDC. Housed in a miniature connectorized package (1.50” x 1.50” x 0.6”) to withstand harsh environments, the PLXO units also feature no sub-harmonics and operate over an optional wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). Applications include use as references for discrete phase detectors, frequency synthesizers, FPGA, DDS and AD / DA converters, as well as for mm-wave VSAT converters and PTP/PTMP radios.
