2 kVA Portable Inverter Includes Sine Wave Output for Field Apps

Absopulse Electronics’ CSI 2KT-2A rugged, portable DC/AC inverter system uses microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology to generate 2 kVA output power with pure sine wave output voltage. High frequency conversion enables compact construction, low weight and high efficiency. The system is conformal coated and heavily ruggedized for immunity to high levels of shock, vibration, humidity, moisture and airborne contaminants. It is housed in a splash-proof 246 mm x 512 mm x 605 mm case, with a sturdy handle for portability and for easy use in the field. The CSI 2KT-2A system delivers 110 VAC/18 Arms continuous at 60 Hz; 230 VAC/8.7 Arms and custom outputs are also available. This inverter operates from a 24 VDC line voltage; 48 VDC, 125 VDC or custom inputs are also possible. It is built with internal power modules: the DC/DC input stage boosts the input voltage to a higher DC voltage, which feeds the DC/AC inverter to generate the required AC output. The system has full electronic protection. The input and output are filtered for low noise: the system meets EN 55022 Class A with margins.
