Premo has introduced a close loop 1000-A Hall effect sensor, the HCT-1000LF. Features and characteristics include accuracy to ± 0.1 percent, linearity of ± 0.1 percent, 1000-A nominal current; 2000-A measuring current, a transformation ratio of 1:5000, supply voltage: ± 15-24 VDC, isolation: > 6000 VAC and DC bandwidth of 150kHz. The current sensor is designed in order to meet the highest safety requirements and is fully isolated with plastic housing, meeting isolation values higher than 6000 VAC.
