TDK-Lambda has released a range of AC-DC external power supplies with models rated from 62 W to 80 W that are EISA and CEC Level IV and V compliant. The DT62-C and DT80-C Series operate with a universal AC input of 90 V to 264 VAC (47 Hz to 63 Hz). The DT80-C models include PFC. Typical operating efficiencies are greater than 85 percent. Available output voltages include 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 18 V and 24 V. These external power supplies are packaged in compact, insulated and lightweight enclosures that measure 2.71” x 5.2” x 1.57” high and are convection cooled (no fans needed). The operating temperature range is 0°C to +40°C at full load (derate linearly to 50 percent load at 60°C). All models are fully isolated (3 kVAC, input to output) and units from 12 V through 24 V are California Energy Commission (CEC) and Energy Independence Act of 2007 (EISA) Level IV compliant. Plus, some models with output voltages of 15 V, 18 V and 24 V are EISA and CEC Level V compliant. These supplies include overvoltage and short-circuit protections, and the Off/No-Load standby-power-consumption is less than 0.50 W. In addition, these supplies include UL/EN/IEC60950-1 international safety agency certifications and meet EN55022-B and FCC Class B conducted and radiated EMI standards.
