SGD-24-MLascar Electronics has announced the release of Panel Pilot, a simple, Windows-based software platform allowing users to configure and customize a range of Lascar-compatible color displays. By connecting the display to the computer via USB cable, Panel Pilot allows users to choose a display type from a selection of analog, digital and bar graph styles; the display colors; any text labels and scaling if required. Once all display choices have been made using this simple click-through application, users can save the configuration and download it to the display. If preferred, displays can be ordered preconfigured from Lascar Electronics, or for the advanced user, configurations can be made using the display’s SPI and I²C bus capabilities. Panel Pilot is introduced with six standard display configurations. Users should visit www.panelpilot.com for new display configurations made available during the coming months.

Panel Pilot is launched in conjunction with the first of Lascar’s compatible displays, SGD 24-M, a high contrast, 2.4” TFT color display with touch screen, dual analog inputs, alarm outputs and SPI and I²C bus capabilities. The display includes an integrated bezel with silicone seal designed for panel mounting. The SGD 24-M is available for purchase immediately from Lascar Electronics at a cost of $95 per display. Significant discounts are available for higher volumes. View an interactive demo of the unit at www.lascarelectronics.com or Panel Pilot’s dedicated website, www.panelpilot.com. Please contact Lascar's sales team at (814) 835-0621 for further information.
