Schurter’s ASO Series fuse and FSO Series fuseholder are designed to protect DC applications from the potentially devastating effects of low short circuits and overvoltage conditions in systems upwards of 1000 VDC. They are intended for use in grid or off-grid solar strings, inverters, battery charges and combiner boxes. The ASO fuse has a quick-acting characteristic according to UL 248-14. Its current ratings range from 1 A to 30 A with a breaking capacity of 20 kA and an operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C. The fuseholder mounts in a standard 35 mm DIN Rail. A pressure plate connection accepts 8-14 AWG stranded wires or 10-14 AWG solid wires. The units can be ordered in one, two or three poles. Both ASO and FSO are cURus agency approved, RoHs compliant and halogen-free. The ASO and FSO are sold separately; pricing for the combination fuse and fuseholder is less than $20.00 each for 100 pieces.
