Anti-static Tumbler Switchblocks Hold up to 2,000 Key Codes

switchlock exceed 20 KVC&K Components has developed a new family of tumbler switchlocks. Designated the Y Series, the anti-static four-, five- and six tumbler switchlocks exceed 20 KVDC static resistance and are available with 200, 750 and 2,000 key codes, respectively. The Y Series switches feature a zinc alloy with stainless steel or gloss black facing lock, and a UL 94V-0-approved glass-filled polyester switch housing. The four- and five- tumbler locks include nickel-plated brass keys, while the six-tumbler lock features two die cast chrome-plated zinc alloy keys. Contact rating is 4A at 125 VAC/28 VDC and 2A at 250VAC, with a contact resistance of 11mA for both the silver- and gold-plated contacts. Minimum dielectric strength is 1000 Vrms, and the switchlocks feature an electrical life to 10,000 make and break cycles at full load.
