Low Noise Sensors Provide Measurements in Micro-G Range

servo accelerometers from Columbia Research Labs Models SA-107LN, SA-207LN, and SA-307LN are high sensitivity, ultra low noise sensors designed for use in seismic, and low level, low frequency motion studies. The SA-107LN is a single axis unit, and the SA-207LN, and SA-307LN are two and three axis units. On all units, low noise electronics used in conjunction with the force balance principle make possible measurements in the low frequency micro-G range. Aside from the traditional DC-coupled zero output, these accelerometers provide AC-coupled zero output which eliminates tilt induced or offset errors facilitating high amplification of the basic output.
