Digitally-Controlled Power Supplies Meet IEC 6060101 for Medical

Mon, 08/31/2009 - 7:47am

EFE300M power suppliesTDK-Lambda added three models to its of digitally controlled medical power supplies. They are available with nominal outputs of 28 V/10.71 A, 40 V/7.5 A or 48 V/6.25 A. They feature digital control combined with a 4 kVAC reinforced input to output isolation and other specifications such as an output-to-ground isolation of 1500 VAC, enabling them to meet the rigorous international safety standards of IEC 60601-1 for medical equipment. As with previous models in the EFE300M, these new units deliver 300 W continuous power (400 W peak for 10 seconds) and can accommodate non-standard system voltages by precise factory programming. The patented Multi Resonant Topology helps boost efficiency to typically 90 percent.
