LED Driver and TCON Preserve Power

 Providing power management and prolonged battery life for DisplayPort-based notebooks using LCD monitors, the VPP1606, VPA2000, and VPA1100 from IDT work individually or in conjunction with one another to provide a solution integrating a backlight LED driver and TCON into one device, which works in conjunction with a power management IC. The VP1606 is an embedded timing controller with LED backlight control. The VPA2000 is an IC generating six output voltages and the VPA1100 is an external boost switch providing higher voltage output and improving image quality.
