Able to prototype industrial and embedded projects, five new National Instruments’ cRIO-911x family of CompactRIO reconfigurable chassis feature a Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA for developing the latest in embedded systems. Features include version with a Freescale 533-MHz industrial real-time processor and all use LabVIEW graphical programming tools. The cRIO-9022 controller is programmed with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module and has dual Ethernet ports for high-speed networking and deterministic expansion I/O. The cRIO-911x chassis are available with four or eight slots that can be filled with any assortment of the more than 65 third-party and NI C Series I/O modules.
