Silicon Labs C8051F7xx familyOffering up to 54 general purpose I/O pins and a 25 MIPS 8051 CPU, the C8051F7xx family of microcontrollers from Silicon Laboratories incorporates a touch-sense on-chip peripheral that uses a capacitance-to-digital converter with a 40-µs acquisition time. Features include capability for up to 32 touch sensing inputs, with wake-on-touch for low-power standby as well as an API library for all common touch sense configurations such as virtual buttons, wheels and sliders. A 10-bit SAR ADC with on-chip voltage reference and temperature sensor calibrated two percent oscillator as well as a byte-erasable EEPROM. From $1.90 in quantities of 10,000.
