Based on a beta version of the Touch Park framework, Stantum Technologies’ SMK-4.3 multi-touch development kit offers a 4.3" touch panel. The product simulates a mobile device user interface in address book, drawing, picture resize, and gaming applications. The kit uses the PMatrix resistive multi-touch detection platform with finger-pressure detection that lets users simultaneously move an unlimited number of fingers, fingernails, or styli on a screen. The unit includes drivers for Windows, MAC, and Linux, and a hardware hit consisting of a resistive-based touch-screen sensor and a multi-touch controller board with a USB connection to the application host processor.
