COTS Military Computer Uses MIL-STD-D38999 Connectors
Targeting military defense electronics, Adlink Technology’s MilSystem 800 Extreme Rugged COTS military computer utilizes MIL-STD-D38999 connectors instead of PC-style connectors. The device consists of the Ampro by ADLINK LittleBoard 800 SBC in a 8” × 10” × 3” MIL-STD-810-tested RuffSystem enclosure, and the system supports up to a 1.4-GHz Pentium M CPU. Built-in I/O includes Gigabit Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 4 serial ports, video, audio, and PS/2 keyboard-mouse. The unit supports up to 1 GB of DDR memory and can be configured with any combination of up to 32 GB of rugged solid-state drive, up to 16 GB of rugged-grade CompactFlash memory card, or an extreme environment hard drive.
