PC-Controlled Optometer Holds 36 Light Detectors

Gigahertz-Optik P-9802Designed for a customized radiometric and/or photometric application requiring multiple detection and monitoring capability, Gigahertz-Optik’s P-9802 PC-controlled optometer enables a user to add from 2 to 36 light detectors. The unit offers fully-automated data processing and remote control operation via PC through its RS232 interface, as well as CW and dose, peak reading, relative (%) and channel 1/2 (%) operation modes. The instrument exhibits adjustable processing time from 20 ms to 4 s, a signal measurement range from 0.1 pA to 200 mA, and compatibility with Gigahertz-Optik UV-Vis-NIR radiometric, photometric, and integrating sphere-based light detectors. OS-P9802 software reads out data and transfers to spreadsheet programs, and a complete command list is included. Detector cable lengths can be extended to create a multi-detector network operated and controlled from one central PC location. Users can implement their own BNC-connectorized light detectors. Pricing for a 2-channel module without detectors is $2,434.
