Experimentation Kit Generates Thermoelectric Power

Tellurex PG-1Suitable for demonstrating the Seebeck effect, Tellurex’s PG-1 thermoelectric power generation experimentation kit supplies a net output of ~0.75 W and an adjustable output voltage from 3 VDC to 14 VDC. The fully-assembled unit can be used to charge batteries, run fans, or power LEDs, music devices, and phones. The self-contained device works by attaching the removable legs and applying heat using a canned fuel source. The kit includes a Tellurex Z-Max thermoelectric module (G1-1.0-127-1.27), a DC fan, an aluminum heat sink, alloy heat collector plate, 6” legs, an adjustable voltage converter, stainless steel fasteners, and Teflon hook-up wires. The product measures 9” (228 mm) × 4.75” (120 mm) × 4.75” (120 mm) and weighs 1 lb, 13 oz.
