MPG Offers Differential Driver and Pull-up Outputs
Micronor's MR190 Universal Manual Pulse Generator (MPG)/Handwheel is billed as the industry's first MPG to offer both A/A'B/B' differential line driver and A/B pull-up quadrature outputs in the same unit. Via a user-accessible DIP switch, the product also offers selection of pull-up resistor options (standard 2Kohm or Fanuc-type 330 ohm) as well as 5-V or 12-V operation. Applications include CNC/Robotic teach pendants, control panels, motion control systems, and instrumentation. The output voltage is 0.7 V, the current consumption is max. 70 mA, and the scanning frequency is max. greater than 5 kHz.
