Brushless Motors Achieve High Efficiency
Offering 2- and 4-pole designs with or without hall sensors, Koford Engineering’s new line of 22-mm slotless brushless motors present efficiencies of up to 86%. The instruments demonstrate power outputs from 0.7 W to 406 W, speeds from 2,600 rpm to 201,600 rpm, and mechanical time constants as low as 5 ms. The products suit actuators for aircraft, such as remotely-piloted drones and robots, as well as industrial and medical applications, including blowers and pumps, beam choppers, and electrical handpieces. Options consist of autoclavable versions, gearboxes, and encoders.
