16-bit DAQ Cards Offer Simultaneous Sampling and Streaming
Designed for PCI Express, Strategic Test’s 16-input UF2e-4731 and 8-input UF2e-4730 500-kS/s 16-bit data acquisition cards exhibit 128 MS memory and 120 MS/s continuous streaming to host PC. Each channel has its own 500-kHz ADC for true simultaneous sampling, together with voltage ranges from ±50 mV to ±10 V, a programmable offset of 100%, and input impedances of 50 O or 1 MO to allow each channel to be individually configured for the signal source. The devices present 14.4 bits, a signal-to-noise ratio of 88.7 dB, total harmonic distortion of -92.5 dB, standard -3-dB bandwidth of 250 kHz, and drivers and programming examples for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP, Linux, and the SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program. Options include dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O, and the ability to synchronize hundreds of channels. Pricing starts at $5,499.
