Servo Motor Controller Possesses CANopen
Configuring for peer-to-peer master or slave, QuickSilver Controls’ QCI-D2-IG-J1 OEM servo motor controller uses CANopen to share I/O and registers with other CANopen-enabled SilverDust controllers or third-party CANopen devices. The component supports CAN in Automation (CiA) CANopen drives and motion control profile 402 for allowing master devices to communicate using a set of motion commands. The instrument offers input power from 12 VDC to 48 VDC, 7 bi-directional I/O, 4 analog inputs, ~3,000 lines of non-volatile memory, RS-232/485 communication, and current of 3.5 A continuous and 4.5 A peak. The device comes with 100:1 inertial miss-match, a PVIA servo loop, point-to-point and profile moves, electronic gearing/camming, and multiple thread programming.
