SBC Incorporates Legacy I/O Interfaces
Targeting 386 or 486 PC/104 users, Adlink Technology’s CoreModule 430 single board computer combines legacy I/O interfaces with on-board video, DDR2 RAM, USB 2.0, and 10/100 Ethernet. On-board I/O consists of a UDMA port, Compact Flash socket, 4 serial ports (2 with RS-422/485 capability), 2 USB 2.0 ports, Intel 10/100 Ethernet, parallel port, PS/2 keyboard/mouse, and 8 general-purpose digital I/O pins. The 90 mm × 96 mm module uses 300 MHz or 800 MHz Vortex86 processors for temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, vibration up to 15 Grms, and shock up to 50 Grms. The component offers 2-D graphics with a TTL flat panel interface along with legacy CRT, as well as a 16-bit ISA bus, an Intel Ethernet controller, and SPI and LPC bus interfaces.
