Integrating Multisim 10.1 and LabVIEW, National Instruments’ beta version of the NI LabVIEW Multisim Connectivity Toolkit identifies and analyzes design behavior, and detects errors at the earliest stages of the design. The software automates circuit simulation and correlates simulation behavior to physical prototype measurements in a graphical environment. The program offers a focus on simulation capabilities, compatibility with PSpice models, a database of 300 components from vendors, such as Analog Devices and Texas Instruments, and the Multisim Automation API for automating simulation with COM-aware programming languages. The toolkit provides connectivity to simulation and real-world measurements of circuits, and acquires measurements to correlate and analyze circuits. Users can run, pause, and stop simulation, as well as view circuit schematics, change component values, and automate the file transfer between Multisim and LabVIEW. Pricing starts at $1,499.
