SSLDs Exhibit Adjustable Output Current
Having a nominal output current set by a resistor, Diodes Incorporated’s ZXLD-1352, ZXLD-1356, and ZXLD-1366 continuous mode SSLDs deliver adjustable output currents of 350 mA, 550 mA, and 1 A, respectively, by applying a PWM or DC voltage control signal. The 3 mm² ZXLD1356/1366 present typical output current accuracy of better than 1% for current matching at working voltages up to 60 V; produce output powers of 30 W and 48 W, respectively, support up to 15 LEDs, and offer a DFN63 packaging option. The 2.8 mm × 2.9 mm TSOT23-5-packaged ZXLD1352 provides a PWM dimming ratio of 1,000:1 and up to 8 W of power for driving up to 10 LEDs while operating from a 7 V to 30 V supply. The inductive step-down converters come in a TSOT23-5 package. Pricing starts at $0.98, $1.32, and $1.40, respectively, in 1,000 quantities.
