Triggering on I²C and SPI data streams, Link Instruments’ MSO-19 USB-powered mixed signal oscilloscope combines a 2 GSa/s RIS DSO, a, 8-channel 200 MSa/s logic analyzer, and a 100 Mpt/s digital pattern generator. The PC-Based multi-tool makes time domain reflectometry (TDR) measurements, outputs both parallel and serial digital patterns, and adds digital and serial data triggering to any stand-alone scope via a trigger out signal. The tool offers a single shot rate of 200 MSa/s, analog bandwidth to the ADC rated at 60 MHz, and pulse width triggering to assist in locating pulse anomalies. The spectrum analyzer function contains a FFT averaging/math function to assist the designer in identifying and locating noise sources, and a signal source on board that can be used to stimulate and analyze the frequency response of an analog circuit. The oscilloscope operates in pulse and step modes, and prints and stores captured data via the PC. Pricing is $249.
