Module Series Acts as Controlling Microprocessor

ec811be406awebProviding Wi-Fi/802.11b/g functionality, the RCM5400W module series from RabbitCore mounts directly onto a user-designed motherboard and acts as the controlling microprocessor for the system. Measuring 1.84" × 2.85" × 0.55" (47 mm × 72 mm × 14 mm), the series features hardware DMA and six serial ports. With up to 39 general-purpose I/O lines configurable, the series sports 512 K to 1 MB program execution fast SRAM and flash memory. For power, the series features 3.3 VDC ±5%, which amounts to 625 mA @ 3.3 V while transmitting/receiving, and 175 mA @ 3.3 V while not transmitting/receiving.
