Control Devices Combine Encoder, Joystick and Pushbutton
Acting as a replacement for a stationary mouse or trackball, Grayhill’s Series 60C multifunction cursor control devices integrate an optical encoder, joystick and pushbutton on a single shaft. The 1” × 1” × 0.75” deep-housed tools manipulate a cursor left, right, up, and down; facilitates sequential scrolling through menu options; and performs on-screen menu selects. The controllers offer a Schmitt Trigger to prevent unwanted cursor movements, an optically-couple 2-bit digital output, and 500,000 rotational cycles and pushbutton actuations. The cable/connector assembly-terminated tools suit dashboards, medical devices, robotic controls, navigation systems, entertainment systems, and cockpit systems.
