Supporting data transmissions of up to 12.5 Gbps per channel, Cinch Connectors’ AMC compression-style mezzanine connector exceeds the AMC.0 Rev2 PICMG ATCA specification. The instrument comprises of one-piece stamped contacts, seamless carrier board to mezzanine card paths, captured individual contacts, and solderless attachment. The device’s compression technology enables trace routing and reduced stub-effects and reflections, and the device’s contact uses plating that is said to minimize abrasions to the mezzanine card contacts.
