Chipsets Combine Transceiver and Beamforming
Using vector mesh networking, Quantenna Communications’ QHS1000, QHS600, and QHS450 802.11n WLAN chipsets integrate a 4x4 MIMO radio/transceiver and Tx beamforming. The devices support real-time video transmission over the 5 GHz band and data over the 2.4 GHz band. The components integrate power amplifiers (PAs) with 18 dBm output power, a low-noise amplifier (LNA), video graphics array (VGA), switches, baluns, and diplexers. The QHS1000 offers up to 1 Gbps link speed and 600 Mbps data throughput, the QHS600 exhibits up to 600 Mbps link speed and 400 Mbps data throughput, and the QHS450 presents up to 450 Mbps link speed and 200 Mbps data throughput. The QHS plug and the Quantenna OS are included.
