Mon, 09/29/2008 - 12:05pm

LISTED UNDER:

Wilcoxon 780A-ISHaving a frequency response of 3 dB, Wilcoxon Research’s 780A-IS 100 mV/g general-purpose vibration sensor exhibits ±5% tolerance from 0.4 Hz to 14 kHz. The tool’s 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector presents compatibility with existing cabling infrastructure, and fits the same connector used on the majority of industrial accelerometers. The hermetically-sealed sensor meets Intristic Safety (IS) Class I Division 1 certification and KEMA Class 1 Zone 0 requirements of the ATEX directive. The device operates with ESD protection and EMI/RFI shielding in a temperature range from -50ºC to 120ºC in hazardous areas where flammable or explosive materials are present without causing electrical sparks or spots strong enough to cause ignition of gases or dusts in the air.
