Light Meters Measure Relative Intensity
Performing radiometric analysis, Ocean Optics’ Jaz stackable, modular and autonomous light meters show relative intensity measurements of LEDs, OLEDs, flat panel displays and UV curing and fluorescent lamps. The devices capture, process and store full spectra, and can transfer the spectra to a laptop or desktop PC for calculating color temperature, spectral intensity and color space values. The meters’ Ethernet module exhibits data storage via a SD card slot and Internet connectivity to the device for remote measurements, including solar irradiance, and creating networked sensing modules. The products’ Lithium-Ion battery module recharges in the field via a solar cell, or in the QC lab using the PoE connection, USB 2.0 port or external power supply with sleep mode and 2 additional SD card slots. The meters connect to integrating spheres (collecting emission with a 360° field of view), cosine correctors (collecting with 180° field of view) and optical fibers.
