Brushless DC Motor-Drive Offers Integral Driver
Designed with an integral driver, the LB22 from Nidec Copal, is a 22 mm brushless DC motor-drive that 3.26 oz/in. with an input current of 1.40 A at 12 VDC. The RoHS-compliant motor has separate power leads for the driver circuit and the motor allowing variable input to the motor for speed control. Another lead provides output from the hall sensor of a square wave signal at four pulses per revolution. The device can be used in miniature commercial and medical pumps and robotic systems. The motor’s stall torque will reach 12.60 oz/in. at a stall current of 5.40 A.
