Networking Switches Support Gigabit PoE
Targeting the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market, ADTRAN’s NetVanta 1234 PoE, NetVanta 1238 PoE and NetVanta 1534 PoE networking switches support Gigabit PoE while offering LLDP/LLDP MED, cable diagnostics and the ability to act as a Wi-Fi access controller. The 48-port Layer 2 NetVanta 1238 PoE and 24-port Layer 2 fast Ethernet NetVanta 1234 PoE includes four Gigabit uplink ports and support for 802.3af and legacy PoE for VoIP and Wi-Fi applications. The 26-port Layer 2 Gigabit PoE NetVanta 1534 PoE offers CompactFlash, expandable RAM and support for 802.3af and legacy PoE in Gigabit-to-the-Desktop employment. The devices exhibit support for virtual LANs, quality of service, link aggregation, advanced management, TCL scripting and remote configuration capability. The switches have a web-based graphical user interface with step-by-step configuration wizards, and a user-familiar command line interface. Pricing ranges from $1,445 to $2,895 with versions without PoE support available from $595 to $1,695.
