LISTED UNDER:

Tundra Tsi620Allowing DSP or processor aggregation, Tundra Semiconductor’s Tsi620 multi-standard RapidIO switch evaluation platform enables prototyping using Texas Instruments’ TMS320TCI6487 multi-core 3 GHz DSP with extendable cluster and an Altera Stratix III FPGA. The component offers communication with PCI-enabled microprocessors through a PMC connector, hardware bridging and leverage over XGMII. The platform includes a Tsi620 multi-protocol switch, antenna interface to FPGA and DSP, RapidIO x4 to backplane and AMC finger connector, and RapidIO 2x1 from Tsi620 to TCI6487. Ethernet connectivity to the FPGA and DSP is available through RJ45 connectors. The standalone or MicroTCA chassis-enclosed device is appropriate for wireless and video processing, medical imaging and military signal processing solutions.
