Tue, 07/29/2008 - 12:49pm

Fairchild FXL2SD106 Offering independent, automatic direction control performing at 1.1 V, Fairchild Semiconductor’s FXL2SD106 4-bit dual-supply voltage translator eliminates the need to program a general purpose IO and reduces the number of pins required for control from 20 to 16. The 2.5 × 3.5-mm 16-pin DQFN-packaged device delivers ESD event protection on the B side of 12 kV in SD cards. The J-STD-020-standardized translator includes an output enable control and Pb-free terminals. The RoHS-compliant component is well suited in applications such as printers, laptop PCs, GPS systems and camera phones. Pricing is $0.42 in 1,000 quantities.
