Oscillators Achieve High Accuracy
Offering accuracy at 99.910%, Linear Technology’s LTC6930 Series of precision silicon micropower oscillators operate in fixed frequencies from 32.768 kHz to 8.192 MHz with maximum frequency error of less than 0.090% at 25°C. The 2 × 3-mm DFN- or 8-lead MSOP-packaged devices draw a typical supply current range from 105 to 490 µA with a startup time of less than 110 µs and typical RMS period jitter of less than 0.150%. The oscillators require a single supply from 1.700 to 5.500 V to operate from two unregulated NiCad batteries in a temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
