Male Connectors Simulate Females
Using designs to simulate 0.062” (1.580-mm) thick daughtercards, Sullins Connector Solution’s male edgecard connector series come with phosphor bronze gold-plated contact fingers that are standardized with 10 or 30 µ” overall gold over 50 µ” nickel. Tail options for the RoHS-compliant devices include 100 µ” pure tin or 5 µ” gold in lengths ranging from 0.100” (2.54 mm) to 0.560” (14.220 mm) with optional mounting ears. The double-row connectors offer from 4 to 60 contact positions in 0.100” spacing and from 4 to 40 contact positions in 0.156” (3.960 mm) spacing. The UL94V-0-rated components are supplied in dip solder, straight or right angle for through hole and card-extender for straddle mount terminations. The connectors operate in a temperature range from -65°C to 150°C with a peak processing temperature of 260°C. Pricing ranges from $0.086 to $.0.147 per contact in 1,000 quantities.
