Wideband DAC Provides Low-Power Performance
Optimized for direct digital synthesis of high-frequency and wideband signals in the first Nyquist zone, the 12-bit, 4.0Gsps MAX19693 wideband DAC from Maxim Integrated Products can synthesize signals in the frequency range from DC to nearly 2GHz. Suitable for applications such as wideband communications, radar waveform and digital signal synthesis, the 11mm2 CSBGA device offers an SFDR of greater than 70dBc below 800MHz, and 62dBc at 1500MHz with a wideband-noise spectral density of -164dBm/Hz. Operating from 3.3V and 1.8V supplies, the 12-bit, 4.0Gsps DAC consumes 1180mW and can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
