Electrically Conductive Latex Coating Has Anti-Static Properties

Thu, 03/06/2008 - 6:57am

ec83pi806aMaster Bond introduced its LTX-117G low cost, electrically conductive, water-based adhesive, sealant and coating. It is a one-part, UV stable latex adhesive where the electrical conductivity is achieved by the incorporation of non-metallic graphite filler. This polymer system dries by water evaporation at ambient temperatures to provide cost effective coatings with controlled electrical properties, including use in ESD anti-static systems. It has a service temperature of -60°F to +250°F. The adhesive is characterized by long term viscosity stability, flexibility and good physical strength characteristics, low odor and good adhesion to a range of both rigid and flexible substrates. The graphite filler also features optimal oxidation resistance.
