Six-pin DIP Optocouplers with High Temperature Ratings for Industrial Applications

ec7dod301web.jpgEverlight introduced a family of 6-pin DIP phototransistor optocouplers featuring awide operating temperature range (-55°C to +110°C), low-profile surface mount availability (S1 option at 3.9 mm max), high collector-emitter breakdown voltage (min BVceo = 80V), high-isolation voltage (5 kVrms), more than 7 mm creepage distance, as well as a wide selection of Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) ranges. These features make the devices suitable for use in designing power supplies, programmable logic controllers and general-purpose switching circuits. This family of 21 devices is grouped into the 4N2X, 4N3X, H11AX and CNY17-X, CNY17F-X Series. Each optocoupler consists of an infrared-emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor. All products are lead (Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant. The lower profile S1 option retains the >7 mm creepage and 5 kVrms isolation voltage safety benefits of a DIP package. The parts add design flexibility in high-end applications requiring narrow CTR bins characterized at low currents.
