IMI Sensors Division announced its model 621B40 high-frequency industrial ICP accelerometer that works with online or portable monitoring systems to provide effective vibration monitoring. It operates to 30k Hz even with a magnet, and it captures high frequency gear mesh faults that are often missed during routine route-based measurements. Due to the sensor’s high frequency range, it is suitable for measurements on high-speed compressors, gear boxes and turbo machinery for early detection of impending problems.
