White Electronic Designs Corporation expanded its high-performance memory module family with the release of three DDR2 2GB modules. These product configurations provide additional bits for error correction algorithms as well as address and command buffering. These features make the modules suitable for systems developed in accordance with the new Advanced Telecommunications Architecture (ATCA) standard as well as the many embedded computer applications WEDC serves within the high-performance computing market segment. The products are available with data transfer rates of 400 MT/s, 533 MT/s and 667 MT/s. The 72-bit wide configurations utilize a phase lock loop to fan-out the clocks and are available with or without registered address and control signals.
